  • What you’ll need:
  • Degree level education in a numerate, business focused or technical subject. i.e. Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Business, Economics, IT Programming; or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
  • Enthusiastic personality
  • Microsoft Excel experience
  • Desirable:
  • SQL experience
  • Retail or customer service experience (office or shop floor based)
  • R/Python/SAS/SPSS programming experience
  • Tableau or other data visualisation tool experience

Responsibilities

  • Using SQL to interrogate our sales and customer databases and extract meaningful information for Superdrug and our key suppliers.
  • Combine multiple data sources into actionable insight for the Superdrug business and present back to decision makers to ensure understanding and appropriate action is taken.
  • Help to democratise data out to the rest of the business through tools such as Tableau to ensure decision making is insight led.
  • Support the commercial teams with range reviews, price and promotional analysis by enabling them to understand Category, Brand and SKU level performance based on customer and sales metrics.
  • Support Marketing and CRM team with analysis of multichannel activity, sharing results and making recommendations to drive planning of future campaigns.
  • Develop geographical insight and provide to retail teams as appropriate to drive business growth.
  • Work directly with external stakeholders including major household brands in Beauty and FMCG by providing Insight into their brands’ performance at Superdrug and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Create and analyse the results from customer surveys to gain deeper understanding of customer behaviour
