Requirements

  • Accepted Degrees: Engineering (e.g. Mechanical, Chemical, Aeronautical, etc), Science (Physics, Chemistry, etc), Mathematics
  • Qualifications & Experience:
  • You will be graduating in 2024 or have recently graduated with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree
  • You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking and being a Team Player
  • You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
  • Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (where possible we embrace virtual working)
  • Hold a full driving licence which allows you to drive in the UK
  • Comfortable with Site based working, when required for projects

Responsibilities

  • The SRM team has significant knowledge and experience in the identification and the management of hazards and safety risks that are associated with railways, industrial processes and other similar safety-critical industries and activities. You will assist in tasks such as hazard identification, the determination of safety measures and safety requirements, obtaining evidence of compliance with safety requirements, and preparing safety justification reports, safety plans and system definitions.
