Requirements

  • Key skills and experience:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • AutoCAD / Revit competency – desirable
  • Somebody ambitious, looking to achieve IEng or CEng status
  • Flexibility to work from home when required.
  • Full UK driving license

Responsibilities

  • Preparing CAD drawings/Revit models from engineer’s sketches
  • Assisting Civil Engineers to create plans using Civil 3D software, water mains designs, clean water distribution networks and will also be involved in hydraulic modelling.
  • Undertakes analysis and design calculations / drawings, reports and contract documents under supervision
  • Assists in the management of projects including having a financial understanding
  • Assists in on-site survey and inspection work when required
  • Checks drawings/schedules prepared by others
  • Responsible for ensuring that they understand and comply with all Health & Safety requirements, practices and procedures
