What is the primary role of the Grants Officer?
The Grants Officer will work closely with the prospect research team to identify potential foundation and institutional donors, manage institutional grants, provide administrative support, and process grant agreements and other required documentation.

Yes, this position is available as a fully remote role, with the option to work from the New York office for those who prefer an office setting some or part of the time.
What are the qualifications required for this position?
A Bachelor's degree is required, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a fundraising environment and proven experience in institutional fundraising activities and standard development practices.
What skills are essential for the Grants Officer role?
Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal and diplomacy skills, strong organizational skills, project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a diverse team are essential.
What kind of experience is preferred for applicants?
Experience working with or for organizations focused on health, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and Raiser’s Edge or other grants management software, is preferred.
Are there any travel requirements for this position?
Yes, the Grants Officer should be able to travel nationally and internationally up to 10% of the time.
