Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement creative and professional concepts for the graphic design of print publications, advertisements and other informative college publications, often in collaboration with the Senior Graphic Designer.
  • Ensure that graphic design materials developed fit into the college’s overall marketing strategy and Identity Guidelines and that they are technically sound for commercial printing publication.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Graphic Designer, Web and Advertising assistant director, Publications coordinator and outside printers and sales associates to guarantee that jobs are designed and packaged to meet proper printing guidelines and specifications.
  • Document and track the status of each design project.
  • Stay current on design trends, software, printing processes, competitors, etc., and apply knowledge as appropriate when developing designs. Other duties as assigned.
