The primary role of a Ground Instructor is to provide ground training in aeronautical knowledge areas related to technical aspects and aircraft performance, as well as ensure regulatory initial and recurrent training for pilots and Ground Instructors.

Candidates must be an engineering graduate or hold a graduate degree with Physics and/or Mathematics from a recognized Board/University, or be a qualified pilot/flight navigator/flight engineer/flight dispatcher/ATCO with at least two years of aviation experience, or be an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of three years of work experience.
