Responsibilities

  • Compliance Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance and assurance strategy, supported by effective control processes and risk management arrangements.
  • Technical Expertise: Hold subject matter expertise for engineering tasks and theory, providing guidance and training to Authorising Engineers (AEs), Authorised Persons (APs), and Responsible Persons (RPs).
  • Health & Safety Oversight: Establish and manage a dedicated Estates & Facilities Health & Safety Team, ensuring safe and compliant service delivery.
  • Utilities Management: Collaborate with Estates and Sustainability teams to develop strategies for efficient energy use and cost control, supporting green and strategic targets.
  • Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate compliance documentation, asset registers, and performance data; produce high-quality assurance reports for governance forums.
  • Audit & Risk Management: Lead regular site audits, monitor compliance against standards (HTMs, HBNs, BS EN, CQC), and drive remediation of non-compliance.
