Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team of editors to develop the concepts, packaging, and execution for all content across all platforms, to reach KPIs and satisfy commercial and consumer revenue targets
  • Develop strategies to drive editorial excellence, audience growth, and revenue, contribute ideas for local and global editorial projects, and bring regional expertise to global projects
  • With global Audience Development and local Social Media teams, refine and implement growth strategies including engagement, audience-building tactics, and special initiatives in service of KPIs and other targets and goals
  • Manage ongoing expenses to ensure editorial operations remain in budget
  • Work with the brand editorial and business leads to define and implement strategic positioning and programming for all market platforms (print, digital, video, social, events, other), maximizing consumer revenue (subscriptions, memberships, e-commerce, experiential, and more) and advertising and licensing opportunities
  • Act as the in-market brand ambassador, hosting events, providing creative direction and liaising with clients as required
  • With global editorial, consumer, and commercial leads, develop and execute global growth initiatives as an editorial partner in support of global revenue, member acquisition, and retention efforts
