  • You’ll also be responsible for innovation, thought leadership and constantly driving the team to deliver solutions and products that our clients need.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a dedicated team of professionals including Account, Strategy, and Operations members on a portfolio of clients operating in an earned media / social first environment.
  • Lead on market new business pitches and work with Influence lead in the region to support on multi-market Influence pitches.
  • Provide senior counsel to clients, advising on industry developments as they occur and showing relevance for clients on the ground.
  • Craft strategies built on innovative brand/customer experience insights and opportunities, with a strong sense of owning client success through innovative social & influencer experiences.
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of Social & influencer campaigns in South Africa with supporting managers and executives, from identification, creative, implementation and reporting.
  • Design and define the role of Social and Influencer strategy within client partner’s wider marketing plans: recommend objectives, targets, action plan, calendar and budget.
  • Aligning and collaborating with media, PR, social, brand activation, digital and all other stakeholders – internal and external to deliver best in class campaigns for our clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with cultural/social trends and customers’ views and attitudes.
  • Support the regional team in the development of thought leadership initiatives, new Influence offerings and promote our innovations across the business, including writing thought leadership and speaking at industry events.
  • Demonstrate and foster a collaborative work environment in which ideas flourish.
