Responsibilities

  • Implement the sustainability strategy across the business and determine targets and commitments.
  • Oversee the management of CSR KPIs and data of supplier performance.
  • Provide CSR related counsel to the Board including the provision of performance updates, risks/opportunities and market developments.
  • Empower the business to support and advocate positive change through proactive engagement.
  • Fostering both the culture and mechanisms to enable colleagues to identify and activate performance improvement.
  • Identify and develop key sustainability programmes to deliver against business goals and commitments.
  • Act as a figure head for sustainability across the business embedding positive culture and best practice and externally with key CSR stakeholders.
  • Represent Lidl GB on sustainability positions at external events.
  • Oversee the delivery of sustainability related communication both internal and external.
  • Lead and chair the strategic CSR steering committee; defining key objectives, prioritised action and Board engagement.
