Responsibilities

  • To support HR Manager with providing a high-quality HR service to the Brand Flagship Store (BFS) Management team, and Retail Back Office functions.
  • To business partner with the BFS Management team to ensure they are equipped with the necessary tools to performance manage their teams in accordance with HR policies and processes and in line with employment legislation.
  • To work closely with the BFS Management team to ensure that HR initiatives, standards and procedures are fully understood and maintained within the store.
  • To assist the HR Manager with additional duties when reasonably requested and where necessary within the defined levels of responsibility and accountability of the role to support the London district.
  • Provide a trusted and confidential HR service to Line Managers and advise on employee relations issues in terms of performance management; disciplinary’s; grievances; appeals.
  • Support the implementation of policies and procedures related to Employee Relations issues.
  • To support Line Managers with informal and formal cases in line with HR policies and processes.
  • Support HR Manager and Line Managers with internal investigations and disciplinary meetings to ensure a structured, consistent and fair approach.
  • Support HR Admin Team with coordinating employees informal or formal meetings.
  • To support HR Manager and work in conjunction with the Wellness Facility on all absence related topics i.e. Long-Term Sick, Maternity, Paternity, Parental leave and Flexible working requests.
  • Support the management of in store ‘Fairplay’ related investigations and complaints to a satisfactory conclusion.
  • Liaise with the legal team in relation to complex HR issues that arise in store in accordance with service level agreements and keep abreast of all changes to employment law, which affects the company and its employees.
  • Provide an advisory service to Line Managers on Employee Relations cases.
  • To train and support HR Manager on all ‘People’ related topics to ensure competence and compliance with Local and Global as specified by the business.
  • Participating in recruitment tasks as directed by HR Manager.
  • Support HR Manager with communicating policies pertaining to compensation and benefits.
  • Maintain the organization of employee electronic files.
  • Support HR Manager with the promotion of all business communication platforms and ensure regular updates for the store.
  • To support the HR Manager and work in collaboration with the North Europe HR team.
  • To ensure all processes are in line with the General Data Protection Regulations and provide training to line managers on the topic. Act as a compliance ambassador within this area.
