Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the human resources functions for an assigned distribution center(s).
  • Execute company strategies in the areas of Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Talent Management and Talent Engagement.
  • Partner with operations to ensure appropriate staffing levels throughout the year.
  • Develop and implement recruitment and staffing strategies.
  • Maintain AAP and document progress to goals throughout the year.
  • Ensure OFCCP compliance in all hiring activities.
  • Coordinate local training and development programs with support of the Human Resources Director.
  • Support development plan process to support overall bench strength and personal development of local leadership.
  • Ensure consistent and timely deployment of the employee review process.
  • Partner with Distribution Center leader to support the succession planning process.
  • Lead the communication plan on all changes that impact the employees and assist with answering questions.
  • Support the employee feedback process and ensure progress is made throughout the year.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws governing employment.
  • Promptly investigate and address ethical issues and employee concerns to the maximum satisfaction of our customer(s).
  • Participate in, contribute to and potentially lead various committees, such as quality and safety.
  • Travel to Rosemont, IL for annual meetings or other Distribution Centers as needed.
  • Be a champion of change.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
