Responsibilities

  • Design and Planning:
  • Participate on SIPOC and business requirements definition of the project
  • Collaborate with project team resources to analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed WMS technical specifications for configuration
  • Identify risks and issues related to the WMS technical implementation and devise mitigation strategies.
  • Provides technical support and guidance to the implementation team.
  • Project Delivery:
  • Serves as internal technical expert, partnering with product team on setup/design phases and provides configuration and design direction to ensure project standardization.
  • Participates in development of concept of systems development, software demonstration preparation and execution, and goodness of fit/solution design review for meaningful to complex business opportunities.
  • Supports and ensures quality delivery of predefined IT solutions as selected to support business needs, including system setup, testing, training, implementation and post implementation support of the predefined IT solutions such as Warehouse Management System into a new or existing client sites.
  • Understands current work processes and develops and publishes work processes, actively participates in Integration Design, Supplier Input Process Output Customers (SIPOC), System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Day In the Life Of (DILO) sessions and facilitates technical documentation of systems and supports operational development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) between DHL and the client.
  • Facilitates and supports business acceptance testing process with customers, analysts and project leaders for custom and package application projects.
  • Support the development of new solutions and strategies.
  • Recommends basic to complex configuration strategies for predefined IT solution(s) that meet or exceed the requirement of customers and business partners.
  • Applies IT and internal team methodologies to ensure implementations are delivered in a consistent, standard, and repeatable method.
  • Performs system setup, configuration, testing, training, trouble-shooting and go-live support.
  • Facilitates training for the implementation team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain with the implementation team the project documentation on the technical configuration and modifications performed.
