Responsibilities

  • Consultative:
  • Holding basic discussions with international assignment candidates and assignees regarding secondment opportunities and policy
  • Keeping a tab on all the IBTs travelling from/ to PwC India so as to maintain compliance in relation to immigration norms of daily basis, and advise them on the likewise manner
  • Holding pre-assignment discussions with inbound/ outbound assignees - focusing on operational issues, and other logistical/technical support matters
  • Understanding the policy and its application/interpretation issues raised by assignees; consults with GMC and external/internal service providers when necessary to resolve service issues
  • Maintaining communication channels with all assignees on a variety of individual and general issues
  • Consulting with foreign GMC’s and GMS’s on assignee issues as appropriate
  • Provides backup coverage to GMC during absences as appropriate
  • Financial:
  • Documents cost sharing arrangements and reconciliation of costs
  • Sharing cost projections, cost sharing arrangement and details of actual cost incurred with Finance team
  • Coordinating and instructing payment of vendor and inter territory invoices
  • Advising one time payments and expense reimbursements as necessary
  • Addressing any assignee payroll issues (e.g. Assignment allowances, tax gross up, Insurance)
  • Operational:
  • Handling day to day miscellaneous enquiries from assignees
  • Initiating data collection/completion of offer details with Business Unit contacts for inbound/repatriating assignees
  • Instructing completion of assignment contract/outbound letter – reviews on completion
  • Coordinating application for appropriate visas/work permits
  • Coordinating and monitoring third party vendors and the delivery of their services
  • Ensuring delivery of assignment compensation
  • Instructing payroll on application of social security exemptions as appropriate – instructs application for social security exemption certificates where required
  • Ensuring assignees’ receive appropriate tax services, including post-arrival tax consultation from the Vialto Partners tax team.
  • Ensuring that inbound assignees are initiated on the shadow payroll, where necessary
  • Maintaining and updating Internal Trackers, maintains and updates Access database and the GMM database.
  • Preparing and delivering periodic management reports
  • Contributing in creation of a high performing Team
  • Contributing to improve the culture and image
  • Enabling team mates to deliver regular BAU activities by providing them support, as and when needed
  • Leadership and Stakeholder Management
  • Building & maintaining effective working relationship with leaders, stakeholders and team members
  • Maintaining and building relationships with other Finance process teams to ensure end to end process efficiency achieved
