Requirements

Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CAD Draftsman in the GCC, with a focus on infrastructure and utilities.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software.
Extensive experience in infrastructure and utility projects, including water, drainage, sewage, and electrical systems.
In-depth knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards in the UAE.
Previous experience working with contracting companies is mandatory.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in preparing technical drawings.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
UAE experience and knowledge of local infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
Ability to work using modeling software’s such as ( Revit , AutoCAD , Plant 3D )
Ability to use clash detection software’s such as Navisworks
Have strong engineering background in both mechanical and electrical field
Have fair knowledge on the MEP & HVAC system components and uses
Ability to use Microsoft office applications

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed CAD drawings for infrastructure and utility projects, including water supply, drainage, sewage, electrical, and telecom systems.
Interpret and convert conceptual designs into precise technical drawings using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
Ensure that all drawings comply with local regulations, standards, and project specifications.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to develop accurate and detailed designs.
Revise and update drawings based on project requirements, site conditions, and client feedback.
Conduct site visits when necessary to gather data, verify measurements, and ensure accuracy in the drawings.
Maintain and organize a comprehensive library of CAD drawings and project documentation.
Coordinate with other disciplines (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical) to ensure integrated and accurate project deliverables.
Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and documentation at the completion of projects.
Participate in project meetings to provide input and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
