Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Communications lead and team members, in a fast paced and agile team, on communication plans and calendar, activities, weekly publications, activities/campaigns/events and materials. Make recommendations for improvement, as necessary.
  • Write effective copy across a range of channels, adapting style to fit channel and ensuring alignment with corporate narrative.
  • Find innovative ways to put the customer at the heart of everything we do via conversations, connections, and content.
  • Research, draft and sub-edit newsletters, intranet, and internal social media updates, as well as notes, messages from the CEO and/or other individuals as needed.
  • Aid in the organisation and coordination of both internal and external events, conferences, competitions, and meetings, working within agreed brief and budget.
  • Be tuned in to grassroot opinion/thinking – while being aware of limitations of anecdotal feedback.
  • Conduct research and seek feedback to measure results constantly.
  • Decide the best mode of communications to support content across all channels.
  • Confident in front of senior stakeholders to present communications and challenge, if needed.
  • Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Support ad hoc projects and events, as needed.
