Requirements

  • We encourage applications from a self-starter, with a passion and appetite to learn and apply marketing methodologies into a dynamic, global business. You will be keen to manage and deliver an 18 month project, with the flexibility to work independently and be confident to liaise with stakeholders at a senior level, working alongside and with Ardent’s existing UK marketing capability.
  • The role will suit a candidate with a degree in Marketing; International Marketing; Business Management with Marketing and / or Strategy or similar. The post-holder will be well supported by academic experts at Leeds Beckett.
  • Work experience in a commercial environment, understanding the key challenges of an SME would also be relevant. Recent graduates could also reference any work-related experience or projects that have developed their skills. i.e. placements or internships.
  • Strong inter-personal skills and experience of project management are required.
  • This will be an exciting role for the right candidate and will present an excellent opportunity to make a tangible difference to the business, grow their own skill set and experience and with a very realistic chance of permanent employment at the end of the project.

Responsibilities

  • This 18 month Knowledge Transfer Partnership project will see you:
  • Develop a systemised approach to international market development, with a full analysis of the existing market and landscape, enabling Ardent to leverage distinct capabilities in domestic and overseas target markets
  • Identify and deliver innovation initiatives in international markets, investigate new markets in growing technology areas, and embed dynamic capabilities to support this.
  • Identify and embed continuous improvement processes within the Ardent team to ensure that international strategy development remains agile and meets growth opportunities.
  • Work with the Ardent team to develop and realise new international markets for Ardent’s products and services
  • Embed evaluation, monitoring and communication processes that allow for iterative development and continuous improvement, achieving a sustainable platform for future growth.
