Responsibilities

  • You’ll be working in the UBS Critical Materials Group sector as an Associate Director with responsibilities across different top ranked sub sectors within the group. The primary sector focus of the group is each of:
  • Metals and Mining: Upstream and downstream extraction and processing of future facing commodities (copper, lithium, etc), precious metals (gold, silver, etc), among others, and related recycling, streaming, and infrastructure; clients are large global public and private corporates
  • Chemicals: Corporate, private equity owned and emerging clients in a broad sector, ranging from commodity to highly differentiated specialty and consumer chemicals/ingredients, including emerging growth areas like recycling/hydrogen/bioplastic
  • New O&G: Transition of O&G companies into multi-energy platforms, as well as downstream in the value chain, including retail and distribution, services, lubricants, transition and aviation fuels, including how the EV trend impacts the industry; clients are private equity, public and private corporates
  • As an Associate Director, you will provide key analytical support in idea origination efforts and transaction execution focused on M&A, leveraged buyouts, and equity / debt / private capital markets transactions.
