Responsibilities

  • - Provide junior level experience (equivalent to FY2/ST1-2) in a teaching hospital within all the main medical sub-specialties
  • - Work closely with GP and Emergency Department colleagues while accepting patients for assessment in SDEC
  • - Assess ED ambulatory patients and GP referrals alongside ACPs and junior doctors in the unit
  • - Be an integral part of the team and involved directly with the day-to-day functioning of Medical Assessment Unit (MAU), Emergency department (ED), and Same day emergency care (SDEC)
  • - May involve some cross site working as and when required
