Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with Designers to support the design and conception to production from our outerwear category
  • Create mood boards, draft sketches, using trend research, competitive shops and catwalk inspiration
  • Confidently produce style boards, taking ideas from concept through to tech and sourcing packs
  • Source and place sample orders of raw materials
  • Issuing of all styles with specs/swatches/layouts etc
  • Researching, development, and design, including identifying key shapes for the season, colour, fabric and building a range to suit our customer base
  • Building relationships with Suppliers and Mills, attending regular meetings with them
  • The Customer is Boss! Anticipating the needs of our customer, using sales data, customer profile analytics and trend research to deliver commercial product ranges
  • You will also work alongside the buying teams to react to sales information and present design ideas and develop products to drive the range
  • Reviewing the collections with the Directors and the Buying team
