Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, or a related function
  • 2+ years of direct people management experience; proven history of hiring, leading, and developing high-performing teams
  • The ability to define strategy, build cross-functional alignment, execute efficiently, and iterate alongside product, GTM, and executive teams
  • Practical business sense and the ability to translate from strategic concepts to operational execution
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to structure frameworks and initiate an action plan
  • Experience leading and negotiating complex, first-of-their-kind, technical partnerships across one or more products
  • Technical depth; experience contributing to and influencing product strategy, roadmap, and execution
  • Proven success in planning, prioritizing, and driving long-term, cross-functional projects to completion
  • A proven track record in analyzing data to build and share insightful business recommendations
  • A demonstrated ability to execute on short term business needs in tandem with driving strategic decisions that align with the broader company and partnerships roadmap
  • While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
  • Experience working at a high-growth company building programs from the ground up
  • Experience working with Figma’s current partner companies
  • Experience creating and implementing product partnerships strategies in enterprise SaaS

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally to define our product partnerships strategy and goals. You’ll drive user engagement and growth via both scalable and custom product partnerships on Figma’s and our partners’ platforms
  • Craft regular business updates related to partners and our partner program; identify trends, consolidate feedback, and share insights with broader partnerships, leadership, and cross-functional teams
  • Lead partner meetings and engagements; provide insight into partnership goals, initiatives, and opportunities
  • Provide education, enablement, and advocacy to partners and internal teams
  • Pitch and prioritize opportunities for cross-functional collaboration that further partner program goals; inform and influence product roadmaps
  • Represent Figma across a variety of settings including partner meetings, negotiations, industry events, conferences, and more
  • Lead and develop team of four partner managers
