Requirements

  • - Academic degrees in Mechanical Engineering or another applicable field (minimum BA/BS)
  • - 5+ years of experience in operations
  • - Track record in continuous improvement
  • - Must have proficient computer skills and be experienced using MS office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • - Effective prioritization, planning and time management skills
  • - Must be able to organize and plan workload on several projects concurrently to meet deadlines
  • - Project management experience would be highly desired
  • - Good oral and written communication skills
  • - Follow and understand ISO 9000 or other quality system

Responsibilities

  • Work with Manufacturing and Quality on problem solving of current manufacturing constraints identified in Daily Management discussions
  • Train Manufacturing and Quality personnel on best practices regarding critical manufacturing controls
  • Participate in Kaizen Events, problem solving work, 5S, Lean, etc. Lead and/or participate in Technical Risk Assessment related to Engineering Changes or NPI work
  • Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) and other Technical and/or Engineering Meetings
