  • Graduate of a Radiological Technology program or recognized equivalent required.
  • Active registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT) required.
  • BLS (Level C - Health Care Provider) required.
  • ACCLXT registration for CLXT applicants.
  • Experience working in an acute care setting.
  • Experience with Connect Care and Impax.
  • Experience with Fluoroscopy.

Responsibilities

  • The Medical Radiation Technologist I (MRT) performs all routine radiographic/fluoroscopic, computed tomography and interventional procedures.
  • The MRT I also produces radiographs of high diagnostic quality in an efficient and safe manner while attending to the diagnostic and care needs of patients undergoing diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.
  • The MRT I is responsible for the provision of services in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health.
