Requirements

  • At least 4 years of hands-on software engineering experience, including a solid practical experience using Go
  • Skills in building high-performant, scalable, and reliable large-scale applications
  • Experience working with different types of databases (relational, NoSQL)
  • Knowledge of distributed architecture and API design (GraphQL, REST API)
  • Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience in CI/CD
  • Familiar with cloud technologies, including AWS
  • Experience in unit & integration testing

Responsibilities

  • As part of the cross-functional, self-organised team, you work iteratively on implementing sustainable solutions that deliver business value and are backed by a well-designed implementation that is easy to change, self-documenting, and well-tested.
  • You are responsible for developing, building, and maintaining our Homepage, Automated Landing Pages, and Exploration Map for all Flix markets.
  • A strong team player with expertise in Agile methodologies, valuing close collaboration, shared responsibilities, and iterative development.
  • As part of your daily work, you work closely with your fellow team members, for example in pair and mob programming, doing code reviews and testing.
  • You analyse, propose, and drive technology improvements.
  • You proactively seek to learn new technologies and gain a deeper insight into the business domain.
  • You enjoy sharing your expertise and helping both within your team and outside of it.
  • You support our agile, flexible, team-oriented development.
