Requirements

  • You should be a graduate, ideally with an LPC, or ILEX, ideally with work experience in a legal environment. Whilst you may not have previous employment law knowledge, you should be used liaising with clients with professional and confident communication skills, and have been in a position where you have had to give pragmatic and solutions based advice to clients.
  • You should have been working in an environment where meticulous attention to detail is a priority as well as demonstrating the management of complex processes and contribution towards their improvement.
  • Excellent client engagement and IT skills are also required. With proven organisational ability and tenacity to see matter through to the right conclusion, you will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to maintain attention to detail at all times. You'll also be have the ability to work closely alongside our international team and the lead partners but also more widely within a local and national team. ou will be a crucial part of the employment team. You'll find the work stimulating, the atmosphere dynamic and the results highly satisfying.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for co-ordinating service to three major multi-national employment clients involving regular helpline queries in multiple jurisdictions, supporting the management of small and large cross-border projects and being involved in regular reporting and horizon-scanning activities for these clients as well as liaising with our international offices and manage the administrative, reporting side of projects with some billing activities.
  • You will also provide holiday cover and overflow support for other Paralegals in the team handling UK employment litigation work and some data subject access request work. So while the role is predominantly non-contentious international helpline and project support there will be an opportunity to undertake contentious employment work.
