Responsibilities

  • The post holder supports the Lead Pharmacy Technician in the management of the dispensary assistants. This will include:
  • Management of sickness, absence and poor/ under-performing of assistants
  • Supervision and training of pharmacy assistants in reception, receipt and storage of stock, labelling and dispensing of medication
  • Supervision and delegation of assistants and their duties
  • Review and updating relevant procedures
