Requirements

  • 1. A PhD in a relevant discipline or equivalent research experience.

Responsibilities

  • Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a full-time fixed term position as a Postdoctoral Researcher or Research Associate in Sustainable and Resilient Structures within the Sustainable and Resilient Structures Research Group in the SFI MaREI Centre and Construct Innovate based in the School of Engineering and Ryan Institute at the University of Galway.
  • This position is funded by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI), Enterprise Ireland and Industry and is available from January 2025 for a period of 1 year initially (subject to extension if additional funding becomes available).
  • Salary: Postdoctoral Researcher Salary scale, currently €44,846 to €57,332 per annum (subject to the project’s funding limitations), and pro rata for shorter and/or part-time contracts.
