Responsibilities

  • Assists in the design, implementation and oversight of the Capital One 401(k) and DCP through close vendor partnership and execution of well-managed processes
  • Analyzes current and developing legislation, external benchmarking and other environmental factors impacting plan performance and program competitiveness, and build recommendations based on analysis
  • Serves as a contact on high level escalations and associate requests requiring in depth Plan knowledge
  • Implement financial benefit plan designs and policy changes approved by senior leadership; Partners with communications team to develop effective materials to optimize impact, understanding and engagement in benefits and programs
  • Creates and oversees processes to efficiently establish, review and validate financial transactions associated with Benefits, ensuring proper approval of Benefits Trust expenses
  • Leverage internal HR Risk partners to maintain understanding of corporate governance requirements, compliance documentation and reporting responsibilities, and optimize processes for completion of requirements
  • Monitor plan or program financials, and collaborate with Finance partners as needed
  • Represent the Design and Strategy team on the Deferred Compensation Program Annual Enrollment project
  • Ensure that benefit plans are administered in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations
  • Other duties as needed to support the Benefits team business priorities
