Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in crafting your tribe’s strategy by doing deep market, customer, competitor and technology research.
  • Develop a product strategy and roadmap for your team based on company strategy, tribe strategy, deep market, customer, competitor and technology research.
  • Build alignment and secure buy-in for the product strategy from colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Turn strategy into a clear, prioritised backlog and roadmap for your team.
  • Lead discovery with clients to uncover real problems, unmet needs and new opportunities.
  • Work with customers and colleagues to generate, test and refine ideas for new features and products.
  • Go deep on payment flows, bank and operational processes, and systems maps to understand how things work end to end.
  • Work with internal & external teams to develop and maintain clear technical documentation.
  • Ensure requirements are detailed enough to take into sprint, including functional & non-functional requirements.
  • Use what you learn from customers and data to separate signal from noise, challenge assumptions, and focus the team on the highest-impact problems.
  • Manage end-to-end product development, from shaping the problem through to building and launching it for our clients.
  • Prioritize the product backlog based on customer, commercial, and strategic value, potentially across more than one scrum team.
  • Partner closely with engineering and delivery counterparts to keep the team focused, effective and moving at pace.
  • Give clear context on what is being prioritised and why, so the team can make good decisions quickly.
