What is the schedule for the PTA/OTA assistant position?
The PTA/OTA assistant is scheduled for one Saturday and Sunday shift out of every four weekends. If a statutory holiday falls on a weekend, it may be included as part of the long weekend.
What educational requirements are needed for this position?
Candidates must be graduates from a recognized Community College OT/PT Assistant program.
How many years of experience are required for this role?
A minimum of 2 years of acute care hospital-based experience is required.
What areas of experience are preferred for applicants?
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in orthopaedic and cardiorespiratory care, as well as experience in medicine, surgery, and geriatric care.
What kind of skills are necessary for the PTA/OTA assistant position?
