  • NYS PE is required.
  • Minimum 5-12 years of experience in designing MEP Projects.

  • Demonstrated familiarity with NYC and NYS building codes required.
  • Experience with municipalities and government agencies a plus. Prior client experience with: DASNY, CUNY, OGS and other NYS Agencies is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Sign and seal all drawings and specifications prepared by the Engineering Department for filing to the respective jurisdiction within New York and New Jersey.
  • Conduct quality control review of engineering design calculations performed by in-house or outside consultants (MEP only).
  • QA/QC construction documents including design drawings and project specifications.
  • Conduct site visits to verify installed conditions, gather information, and observe construction and help resolve field issues during construction.
  • Support the peer review process of RFI responses and equipment submittals during the bid and construction phases.
  • Conduct quality control review of design drawings, specifications, and cost estimates to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Ability to move seamlessly between projects and support prioritization of projects and schedules according to Senior Management.
