Responsibilities

  • Establishes, develops, and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organisation.
  • Sell the company's products and services.
  • Planning, executing and monitoring all measures necessary to achieve budget.
  • Planning all meetings with customers and maintaining and updating daily reports.
  • Organising and conducting product related training for current and potential participants and participating in educational opportunities and workshops.
  • Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
  • Conducting price negotiations and contractual preparation within the limits of divisional guidelines.
  • Handle the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service team.
  • Analyse the territory's potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organization.
  • Create and manage a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities.
  • Plan and organize personal sales strategy by maximising the return on time and money investment for the territory.
  • Regular reporting to the divisional Manager on the evolution of sales and adaptation of the circumstances of the market.
  • Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
  • Participate in trade shows and conventions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, with feedback in the form of formal reports.
  • Continuously develop and understand new products in order to maximise customer potential through the introduction of new products.
