What qualifications do I need to apply for the Registered Counselling Therapist position?
You need to hold a master’s, doctoral or equivalent graduate degree in Counselling Psychology or Social Work, and be currently registered in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists.
Is this position full-time or part-time?
We would ideally like to attract a full-time Registered Counselling Therapist, but we are also open to considering part-time employee or independent contractor arrangements.
What types of clinical services will I be providing in this role?
As a Registered Counselling Therapist, you will provide clinical services including consultation, evaluation, assessment, interventions, monitoring of progress/outcomes, and discharge with individuals and/or groups.
What kind of environment will I be working in?
You will work in a multidisciplinary clinic with a collaborative team that includes Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Kinesiologists, and a Pedorthotist, in a state-of-the-art facility located in the Valley Crossroads Professional Center.
