Responsibilities

  • The post-holder will work closely with the Lead Research Practitioner and the Academic Research Lead to ensure successful research delivery to the stroke portfolio.
  • The post-holder will be responsible for identification and enrolment of eligible patients onto clinical trials from the Emergency Stroke Unit and the Hyper-Acute Stroke Unit at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
  • The post-holder will be expected to register / randomise patients onto study protocols and to prepare and administer investigational medicinal products as per trial protocol.
  • The post holder will be responsible to ensure clinical trials are run in accordance with ICH-GCP, research protocols, Trust policies, local SOPs and all other regulatory standards.
