Requirements

  • Master or PhD in computer science, applied mathematics/physics, computational chemistry, computational biology or related fields.
  • Adequate computer programming skills, proficient in python and C/C++, familiar with high-performance computing and CUDA.
  • In-depth knowledge of scientific computing and quantum chemistry.
  • Experience in developing quantum chemistry packages such as PySCF, Psi4, Q-Chem, etc.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Benchmark, profile, and improve fundamental quantum chemistry algorithms (such as density functional theory) on GPU.
  • Build robust quantum chemistry workflows (including data generation, data management and machine learning) for solving real-world problems in materials and biology.
  • Identify scientific and engineering problems in a diverse environment, and solve real-world problems with the team.
