Requirements

  • Proficient in Mathematics with solid engineering / physics background.
  • Sound fundamentals of Numerical methods.
  • Sound understanding of Linear algebra.
  • Strong in Scientific Machine Learning (SciML) methods like PINNs, operator learning, system identification.
  • Excellent programming skills in python.
  • Good knowledge of partial differential equations.
  • Numerical methods for modelling and simulation.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience with simulation tools: Matlab, Simulink, and Ansys will be added advantage.
  • Familiarity with high performance computing will be added advantage.
  • MS/M.Tech, PhD from top Indian institutes (IITs, IIITs, IISc etc.) or from top international institutes with good track record of research publications related to numerical methods for modelling and simulation solid/fluid/thermal systems, AI/ML methods.

Responsibilities

  • You’ll be part of our team and model mechanical systems accurately and reduce computational cost.
  • You will simulate 1D/2D/3D multi-physics models using numerical simulations, scripting and programming.
  • You combine physics-based models with data-based approaches.
  • You will work in international teams and perform necessary development/implementation to accomplish the tasks.
  • Publish research findings in reputable journals and conferences.
