Responsibilities

  • To provide high quality physiotherapy including assessment, treatment and advice to patients with various needs in a variety of settings.
  • To work collaboratively with the MDT to deliver patient centred care.
  • To participate in the Band 5 Rotational Scheme, this involves six monthly rotations in the following areas;
  • Respiratory including Critical care, UCLH@Westmoreland Street, Acute Medicine and Surgery
  • Neurology including Hyper acute Stroke Unit (HASU), Acute Brain Injury Unit (ABIU), Neurosurgery, neuro-medicine and neuro-rehabilitation (at NHNN)
  • Musculoskeletal including Outpatients, Orthopaedics, Acute orthopaedic outpatients
  • Rehabilitation and Medicine including Oncology, Haematology, Elderly Care, Infectious Diseases, Exercise Post (A rotation providing physical and therapeutic exercise within a Paediatric, Adolescent and Adult Cancer Services) and Intermediate Care (St Pancras Rehab Unit)
  • To participate in weekend working, on-calls and 7-day services as appropriate for the rotation.
