Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and coordination of Key Event strategies across 14 annual periods, ensuring cross-departmental alignment prior to approvals and cascades.
  • Propose and coordinate national actions to optimize business performance during each Key Event period, covering ALDI Local and Small Store range planning, Dual Merchandising, and Promotional Planning.
  • Serve as the primary single point of contact (SPOC) for all National Buy-related Sales and Key Event queries, fostering strong relationships with internal SPOCs to ensure timely and accurate execution.
  • Manage and coordinate national and international projects impacting the GB|IE business strategy Reporting & Financial Control.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent reporting of total business performance for each Key Event season, collaborating with different teams to maintain data integrity for strategic decision-making.
  • Analyse, improve, and control Seasonal Price Change budgets in partnership with the Commercial teams.
  • Lead the consolidation and alignment of retail, price change, and sell-through proposals across National Buying, ensuring a standardized approval process from BA to MDB.
  • Oversee and evaluate the performance of Seasonal Key Event lines, coordinating with SMT for Specialbuys events.
  • Drive national wash-up processes, consolidating National Buying departmental actions to provide a unified performance picture.
  • Lead National Buying Projects linked to Sales and Key Event results, such as December profitability initiatives.
  • Support and coordinate National Buying input and actions for the Business Coordination Control Tower Sales and Key Event Working Group and Sales and Key Event Conference Calls.
  • Ensure timely and aligned submissions to the E2EC, Managing Director Meetings (MDM), and International Committees across SKEWG members.
  • Provide direct cover support to the NSCM Sales and Key Event Coordination colleague as needed.
