Requirements

  • An excellent storyteller with commercial Data Analysis experience, preferably from an eCommerce Insights team or similar
  • A strong track record for identifying opportunities to change and following an idea through to implementation
  • Significant experience turning data into insights and driving decisions. Bias to action, but from a starting point of recognizing the complex environment we operate in.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build new relationships and drive through challenging decisions
  • Understanding of data structure and the ability to drive meaning from large, unconnected data.
  • Experience working with Big Data Platform and web-analytics. SQL skills a must, Adobe Analytics & both Tableau and Power BI experience preferred
  • Experience with relevant models such as MTA, MMM and CLTV would be beneficial as would experience with segmentation, e.g. behavioural profiling
  • Nice to have - analytics engineering experience would be beneficial with a focus on how we can use data to drive insights

Responsibilities

  • Review ongoing performance on LEGO.com based on a combination of metrics & methods to “tell the story” of the main drivers behind results
  • Focus on our Shoppers & the Assortment they engage with, establishing & driving through a strategy for how to understand them better through both LEGO Retail focused Decision Science & aligning to TLG innovations
  • Utilise your own Analytics skills, along with collaborating with other members of the team & wider data analysis network to deliver the strategy at pace
  • Combine your breadth of data science techniques, commercial knowledge & data analysis skills with those across the team & other analytical functions to create a holistic view of performance & identify opportunities to optimise
  • Work collaboratively across a range of commercial, engagement & data science teams to create a culture of change where concrete recommendations are not only in place to trigger action but acted upon
  • Your primary focus will be on longer term insights & analytics but at times also able to support significant marketing events, reporting on real time performance & proactively identifying areas for optimisation (e.g. Black Friday, Cyber Monday)
  • Proactively build upon gaps in our understanding across the end to end of a shopper’s purchase journey & drive through changes in the way we analyse & use data & insights to understand our business better
  • Continually drive your peers both within the team & other analytics teams to find innovative ways to make positive changes for our shoppers
  • Ensure that the data we utilise is accurately reported & partner with A&I Enabling & other data owners to ensure ongoing governance is in place for LEGO.com
