Requirements

  • University degree with technological or scientific focus or equivalent working experience.
  • Many years of experience in full stack development of robust and reusable code. You can execute the full SDLC, write good, reusable, testable and maintainable code and you are familiar with agile work.
  • Highly proficient with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks (preferably React and Node.js). Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3/4 and web design principles. Comfortable with TypeScript (preferred).
  • Experience with Java, Spring framework, APIs (RESTful services), databases, Camunda. Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based environments (ideally Google Cloud Platform).
  • You are a good team player who likes to share content and best practices, willing to mentor junior engineers, have good communication skills and can communicate fluently in English. German is a Plus.

Responsibilities

  • You design, develop and document microservice-based & Cloud-native application components which fulfil business requirements as well as technical requirements like observability, scalability, and stability/resilience.
  • You write clear, maintainable, and reusable code and take part in code reviews to ensure that features are developed at high quality standards.
  • You participate in and actively contribute to technical discussions and architecture decisions within the team.
  • You are working in a cross disciplined agile team with shared responsibility and high autonomy and actively engage in the engineering community, share your knowledge and build up a solid network.
