Responsibilities

  • Learning & Development Strategy:
  • Oversee the design, development, and delivery of learning and development programs for the North American region, ensuring alignment with global strategies and regional priorities.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director for Leadership and Learning, Global, and the Regional HR Business Partner to identify critical learning needs and create innovative solutions.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Manage and mentor a team of L&D specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and direction to ensure the successful execution of regional learning initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a high performing team of learning and development professionals.
  • Program Development & Execution:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development agenda for the North American region, aligned with both global objectives and local needs.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of leadership development programs across our leadership population levels.
  • Introduce and manage a comprehensive learning curriculum designed to ensure our people have the critical skills they require to perform and grow at Vantage.
  • Partner with the Senior Manager for Onboarding Excellence to ensure the successful onboarding of new hires across North America, ensuring engaging and impactful experiences that set them up for long-term success.
  • Early Careers & Talent Development:
  • Spearhead the development and execution of early careers, employability, and "grow our own" programs to attract, retain, and develop top talent across the region.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Serve as a strategic partner to regional business leaders, understanding their challenges and priorities, and aligning learning interventions to support their goals.
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, such as HR, business leaders, and subject matter experts, to align learning initiatives with organizational priorities.
  • Collaborate with the global L&D team and other regional L&D partners to adapt and localize learning content and resources for the North American employee population.
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and make data-driven decisions to optimize the employee experience and maximize the impact of L&D efforts.
  • Monitor and report on the impact and effectiveness of learning programs, using data and metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging learning technologies to continuously enhance the employee learning experience.
  • Resource Management:
  • Manage the regional L&D budget and resources, ensuring efficient and strategic allocation of funds.
  • Coordinate with internal and external facilitators, trainers, and vendors to ensure high-quality program delivery.
