Responsibilities

  • International and interdisciplinary cooperation: As Senior Purchasing Manager for electronic components (w./m./div.), you will be part of the new company to be set up in the future and thus contribute to a globally networked team of around 4300 colleagues operating in over 50 countries.
  • As a Senior Purchasing Manager, you will lead a global team of 13 strategic buyers (Germany, China, Portugal) and will be responsible for developing and implementing the purchasing strategy for electronic components.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Provide disciplinary and functional leadership to the strategic purchasing team, with a particular focus on the Munich location.
  • Strategy Development: Take responsibility for the material field and supplier strategies, aligning them with global purchasing and corporate objectives. Oversee supplier relationships and drive the strategic development of the supplier base.
  • Procurement Processes: Hold overall responsibility for all procurement processes, including contract management, price negotiations, awarding, and handling escalations due to delivery bottlenecks.
  • Value Contribution & Cost Management: Support the management in budget planning, monitor monthly KPIs, and ensure annual cost savings through negotiations and technical cost reduction projects.
