Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of pricing managers to assist in ensuring category sales and profitability objectives are met. Ensure team readiness and adoption of new tools and processes
  • Lead end-to-end implementation of pricing tools to achieve pricing strategy and financial objectives; Help define and champion change processes assessing readiness for change
  • Develop and execute the pricing roadmap (find opportunities, be aware of business model changes that would require an update to the strategies)
  • Advise and develop price optimization scenarios working with merchandising teams to develop and price strategy, objectives and rules modelling different objectives and constraints. Model future impact of changes to pricing
  • Accountable for pricing operations and performance. Understand the pricing backend, data structure and technical processes and advise on impact to pricing
  • Drive continuous improvement around pricing processes and tools, working closely with other departments (data science, engineering, legal, compliance, store operations) and other teams to achieve results
  • Establishing relationships with internal customer and developing strong partnership with senior leadership and merchants (decision makers) to get alignment and drive decisions on strategy, technology, process and change management
  • Understand Data-science solutions applying Big data. Exhibit understanding of pricing back end tables and data in your area employing data to make/influence strategic decisions and help team members and cross-functional partners.
  • Closely work with pricing analytics team to understand, measure and refine competitive pricing responses in the market
