Responsibilities

  • As a Simulation Engineer at Amazon, you will lead the creation of complex discrete-event simulations that validate new technologies early in their development cycle - focussing on process simulations to understand throughput requirements, bottlenecks and operator machine interactions. You will utilize your expertise in simulation software (FlexSim, Emulate 3D) and programming to create digital experiments that optimize processes and influence mechanical designs whether it be robotics, AGV's, conveyors or storage systems. You will have ownership of strategic modeling projects, establish best practices, and influence design decisions through data-driven insights. Your work will directly impact the success of revolutionary automation technologies in our logistics network.
