Requirements

  • Experience working with microservices - our event-based services layer utilises Node.js and is built mainly on the AWS stack – Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, Containers on Fargate, Kinesis, DynamoDB and more
  • Understanding and experience of JavaScript and APIs
  • Experience with modern JavaScript-focused frameworks and technologies
  • Some knowledge of unit testing, integration testing and end to end testing using frameworks such as Vitest or similar

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers and other application engineers to deliver both new functionality and iterative improvements to the LEGO.com privacy, data and analytic collection services.
  • Build efficient and reusable applications and services using TypeScript – React / Node.js / GraphQL / AWS / Terraform
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Focus on sharing knowledge and mentoring other engineers
  • Identify and resolve scalability and reliability issues
  • Be the driving force behind the delivery of a feature
