Responsibilities

  • EU / UK Risk Manager: Lead the risk management program for the EU / UK licensed entities (payments, insurance distribution, and credit broking), including:
  • Roadmap creation, including embedding of risk management mechanisms and support for change management (e.g. product launches, geographic launches, etc.);
  • Monitoring of risk exposure versus entity risk appetite, with escalation as appropriate;
  • Facilitate detailed, data driven narratives to inform leadership/Board members of risk levels, mitigations, and impacts;
  • Incident response support.
  • Global Programs: Responsible for global program, including development of policies, procedures, toolkits, and other governance documents as necessary:
  • Business Continuity / Operational Resilience;
  • Product Risk Assessment/Material Changes to Business Products;
  • People Management:
  • Manage a team of three globally dispersed direct reports through the employee lifecycle (sourcing, onboarding, in employment, and offboarding).
  • A day in the life: You will use your experience working with compliance and businesses and working autonomously to meet with external customers, give advice and feedback on application of risk management, draft documents, schedule meetings and workshops, provide feedback, meet with internal risk team, create reports, meet with senior leadership, oversee the work of others who are supporting this initiative, determine workloads, work on global projects, raise your hand to innovate the global risk management program.
