Responsibilities

  • Undertaking adequacy tests/training/refreshers to ensure patient safety at home undertaking their treatment.
  • Main duties involved are of training patients on both Peritoneal dialysis (CAPD & APD) and haemodialyis (Nx Stage machine/5008s), ensuring a high standard of care is maintained throughout
  • Undertake the named nurse
  • Carrying out Adequacy tests including PET/UKM's for Peritoneal dialysis patient.
  • Working as part of a team within the wider multi-disciplinary team.
  • Under take home visits regularly and being a car driver is essential.
