What is the position being offered?
The position being offered is for a Band 5 Staff Nurse at Ancora House, an in-patient child and adolescent mental health service.
Where is Ancora House located?
Ancora House is located on the Countess of Chester Health Park Site, approximately 1.5 miles from Chester city centre.
What kind of patients will I be working with?
You will be working with children and adolescents in a general adolescent unit, including those with eating disorders.
What are the shift patterns for this role?
The role requires working on a rotational shift basis, which includes days, nights, and twilight shifts.
Is there a training program for new staff?
Yes, there is an excellent training program and a preceptorship program to support new staff.
