Requirements

  • A Western Australian drivers’ licence (HR or higher preferred)
  • Successful completion of an approved WHS Risk Management unit for statutory supervisors in the mining industry
  • Evidence of successfully passing an applicable legislation examination for statutory supervisors
  • At least 2 years of experience as a supervisor in a similar operation or industry
  • Poly Welder Certification
  • Telehandler licence
  • A strong understanding of both production and maintenance strategies for large-scale continuous operating process plants
  • A sound understanding of mechanical and chemical processes
  • Experience with rostering and shift planning

Responsibilities

  • The direct supervision of process operator & maintainer and contractor teams to ensure tailings facilities are available to fulfill plant requirements
  • Ensuring all maintenance targets are achieved and the plant is maintained in a safe condition
  • Scheduling maintenance work to minimise impact on production
  • Ensuring suitability and availability of equipment spares through liaison with area maintenance and maintenance planners and schedulers
  • Contribute to Murrin Murrin policies, procedures, and competency-based training programs
