The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team responsible for supervising, managing and directing the duties of operator &amp; maintainer teams to deliver required tailings volumes for budgeted production tonnes and to ensure maximum availability &amp; capacity from the Murrin Murrin tailings facilities.

You will be responsible for:

<ul><li>The direct supervision of process operator &amp; maintainer and contractor teams to ensure tailings facilities are available to fulfill plant requirements</li>
<li>Ensuring all maintenance targets are achieved and the plant is maintained in a safe condition</li>
<li>Scheduling maintenance work to minimise impact on production</li>
<li>Ensuring suitability and availability of equipment spares through liaison with area maintenance and maintenance planners and schedulers</li>
<li>Contribute to Murrin Murrin policies, procedures, and competency-based training programs</li></ul>

<b>About You</b>
<br>
This role would suit a Tailings Supervisor that has previous experience within a continuously operating plant.
<br>
You will also have:
<br>
<ul><li>A Western Australian drivers&rsquo; licence (HR or higher preferred)</li>
<li>Successful completion of an approved WHS Risk Management unit for statutory supervisors in the mining industry</li>
<li>Evidence of successfully passing an applicable legislation examination for statutory supervisors</li>
<li>At least 2 years of experience as a supervisor in a similar operation or industry</li>
<li>Poly Welder Certification</li>
<li>Telehandler licence</li>
<li>A strong understanding of both production and maintenance strategies for large-scale continuous operating process plants</li>
<li>A sound understanding of mechanical and chemical processes</li>
<li>Experience with rostering and shift planning</li></ul>
