Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Communication, or a related field from an accredited program. and 4 years of experience in talent development, organizational development, or related role required.
  • Experience in AEC, construction and/or professional services industries preferred.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to listen, identify needs, evaluate options, make recommendations and implement solutions.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly present complex information.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other relevant technology platforms.
  • Proficient in presentation design and delivery software, including CANVA, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • Proficient utilization of audio-visual equipment for in-person, virtual and hybrid training delivery.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to accomplish goals and deliver results in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and frequent interruptions.
  • Demonstrated creative and/or technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and evaluate training programs that address identified needs and support employee development.
  • Partner with business leaders, HR team and other stakeholders to develop and execute talent development strategies for assigned functional areas that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of talent development programs to ensure they meet the needs of team members, strategic organization priorities, and stakeholders.
  • Lead the end-to-end project management of talent development programs and successfully launch organizational learning programs.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging and impactful learning experiences, including workshops, seminars, e-learning modules, and leadership development programs.
  • Partner with HR teams to analyze available data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement specific to talent development programs; conduct additional assessments as necessary.
  • Utilize a variety of learning methodologies to accommodate diverse learning styles and preferences.
  • Facilitate training, including live, in-person, virtual and hybrid classes, with various groups or teams.
  • Collaborate with the broader Human Resources team to understand the organization's needs and recommend talent development solutions for assigned functional areas.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with HR team, key business leaders and talent Development stakeholders.
  • Identify inefficient processes and make recommendations for improvement. Lead and/or support process improvement efforts, including communicating and training others on new methods.
  • Provide advice and recommendations on maximizing utilization of available learning management system tools, resources, platforms and content to support learning and development programs and initiatives.
  • Evaluate and update existing learning and development programs to ensure relevant and accurate content as well as effective program design.
  • Work with learning management system administrator to maintain current knowledge of system tools, resources, issues and updates.
  • Research options for external training to meet identified needs. Present options and recommendations to management and other key stakeholders, including availability, cost, enrollment process, anticipated utilization and key metrics.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in talent development to ensure our programs remain innovative and effective.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
